When I paint I forget everything

There are times when life seems too much to ask: thoughts that overlap, commitments that weigh on you, voices that crowd your mind. Yet, all you have to do is open your paints and start painting for it all to vanish.
In front of the canvas, I enter a suspended space, a place where time is irrelevant. Worries slip away and every gesture becomes pure present: the brushstroke, the vibration of color, the material taking shape.
I paint and forget. It's not oblivion, but rather a return to the essential: I'm alone with myself, with my breath, and with what I carry within. It's there that I rediscover lightness, energy, and truth.
Perhaps this is the magic of art: it allows us to abandon the noise of the world and finally encounter inner silence.
